I went to Visit Spelman this weekend...

Spelman has to be one of the most impressive schools. Unfortunately they were on spring break, but my tour was great. Mrs. Johnson made me feel like Spelman was the right choice for me. I honestly didn't think I would like the historical look of the campus...but I love it. The security is strict! lol. They serious about keeping the Spelman women safe...which is a good thing. I love the small classes..the ratio being 1:11 is great..and with my major of Biochemistry, it should be even less. I'm excited to go to a school where I'll be surrounded by educated black women who want the same thing that I want...success. Mrs. Johnson made a good point that when Spelman has career days...those jobs are coming there with that purpose...to find a black woman. So you really aren't competing against the masses...just other black women. I can't wait to attend Spelman in the fall of 2007!
