Beautiful

MATTHEW GRIFFIN · Friday, November 3rd 2006 at 1:52AM · 96 views
She’s my poetic blessing
Her face is my sunrise anew
Who knew, I’d meet an angel right here on earth
Devastating me with her inner beauty
Mesmerizing me with her spoken words
Her unspoken expressions keep me guessing
Speculating on what she’ll do next
I refuse to rest, when she’s around
I don’t blink
I sit and I think
She makes me think
Enlightening my head
She’ll never give me head
I have more respect for her than that
She’s Gods property
I get weak to my knees ever time she touches me
I want to caress her body
The same way her eyes caress my soul
She’s so bold and so strong
Never seems to do anything wrong, but she’s not perfect
She’s blessed
And so am I to have her in my life
She overwhelms my spirit with her presence
It’s a spiritual presence
Your ebony essence
Making the world more beautiful every time you step outside
You are a beautiful woman inside and out
I need to shout, just to release some emotion
Because I’m not good with words and I can’t cry
I’m scared to tell you how I feel, but I can’t lie
I think you fell from the sky, because I’ve never seen a soul shine as bright as yours
I know you’re an angel
And God is testing me with your s*x appeal
But I can’t help it
I want to kiss you so bad
I want to put my arms around you when you’re cold
I want to be your comforter when you’re lying in the bed
And when the world is on your shoulders
Everything you’ve every said, I promise I’ve heard
I want to solve your problems, without saying a word
We’re just friends
But I want more
But I can’t, she’s taken
I know she’s debating on whether I’m a liar or not
But truth be told, I think I’m falling for this girl
But how can I like her if I tried to holla at her friend
It’s no point in explaining,
I have no explanation
Besides, she’ll never believe me
But truth be told, I think I’m falling for this girl
Beautiful bows down at her feet, she out shines the sun
I have no appetite when I’m around her she fills me up
No need to go home for thanksgiving, she’s my turkey and dressing
My spiritual lesson, her voice I confine in, her bosom I’m resting
My poetic blessing
