Baseball Reinstated at Shaw University

Raleigh, NC - The Board of Trustees voted unanimously to reinstate baseball, according to an announcement made today by Dr. Clarence G. Newsome, President of Shaw University.
"The attention to the situation brought increased interest and support from alumni and friends," stated Dr. Newsome. "This allowed us to review the program and reinstate it with minimal interruption."
The program was suspended in July.
"We look forward to an exciting season and defending our CIAA championship," said Dr. Newsome.
