LOVE
Love
All of us can agree that divinely guided love can heal physical, mental, or emotional challenges. However, there may be times when we feel that no one loves or appreciates us, and at the same time may be withholding our love and appreciation from others. We are comforted when we know that God sees us through every situation. We have faith in God’s love for us, remembering that divine love can work in and through us in all situations if we let it. We let God do is His perfect work when we place ourselves, our loved ones, and all situations in God’s care and keeping. God’s love is active in all people and all events. God’s love will see us through to dawn of a new and brighter day.
“The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.” Nahum 1:7.
We need to understand that love is not something that happens to us; rather, it is something that is expressed through us and by us. We do not create love, for love is God and is always present within us; however, we must be willing to express it.
We may pray for another to change for freedom from difficult associations so that we can be with only those who agree with us. If this is the case, then surely our prayer needs to be, “Father, teach me to love.”
If we would like to feel more loved and loving, if we would like to understand an to be understood, let our prayer be, “Father, teach me to.” Above all things put on love. Col 3:4. God loves us, because we are his children and he is the father. His love is unconditional love like a parent to his child. Which means no matter what happens; God will still have love for that person. Here is an example from the Bible that shows God loves us: John 3:16... For God so loved the would that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting Life. In that verse God loves us so much he gave his son to die for our sins.
