Update 3: Losing Isaiah

Its been a while since I let u all know what was going on w/ my son and the whole custody battle. After mediation we aggreed that isaiah travel every 2 months until 2009 when he's old enough to go to school then we'll go back to mediation to see who gets primary and who gets visitation. thru these past months i've noticed that my son's father is using the baby as a meal ticket. whenever we go to mediation on have a court date his lawyer brings up money! he asked if he could claim the baby on his taxes. i even got court papers from his lawyer saying that he wanted child support from me! i was shocked at that! my lawyer said that was a dumb move on his part b/c we have 50/50 custody so neither of us are obligated to give the other support unless its voluntered! so, im not too worried about that!
isaiah is happy! thats all that matters. he knows both me and his father! its hard to be w/o him when he's in nevada, but its whats best for right now! hopefully things will change and his dad will grow aheart but until then, my son will be getting a lot of frequent flyer miles...lol! PUSH

I know exactly how you feel. I am going thru something similar, but I haven't seen my kids yet. As I am praying for my kids, I will include you and yours. Stay strong for yourself and your son.

Tiffany, sounds like some ordeal, but I can understand it being hard to be without him, and I can appreciate you keeping the right attitude. You seem to be the parent with your son's best interest at heart. Don't stop fighting for your son. He may be happy, but you have an obligation to raise him to be so much more and you don't need the distractions. I pray you are able to stay focused and to find favor with who ever you need to in order to make the situation right. There must be a way to fix it, so if it takes forever, just don't stop working toward whats best for your son.
