I'm so GLAD God still hears a sinner's prayer...

Simone Pringle · Friday, July 21st 2006 at 10:02AM · 403 views
I'm through alot right now...going off to college...gonna be an auntie....don't have much financial aid from Howard...hopefully getting my license soon...life is bittersweet right now...

And yet, all through it, I've been praying on and off...for this and that...and I know God is GOOD. And I'm just glad He still hears a sinner's prayer.

Like I always say, God can make a way through a 6 foot wide brick wall. I know He's able.

He is able Baby Girl! Keep praying and don't forget to praise Him. Praise and press your way through this and before you know it you will be going into your Sophomore year. Keep my favorite scripture in your heart:

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your request be known unto God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Remember to pray with expectation, Baby Girl. Expect that your prayers will be answered.

Hi Simone!

As you enter your freshman year, also try to remember to register with your campus employment office - It's a great resource for a myriad of employment, intern, and volunteer opportunities.
Also, try to find a few moments to read the bulletin boards throughout campus (even in the restroom areas), you might be surprised at what's posted from time to time. Adn, don't be afraid to ask questions from professors and other students about what's going on in the employment and/or recreational sector.

Good luck and stay focused,

Jane
