Dealing with bitter relatives

Everyone experiences seeing a negative side of relatives they are close to and trust. We are stunned, hurt, and disappointed because of the relative's action. It can be your mother, father, sibling, aunt, uncle, cousin, or granparent. Relatives can say mean things that hurts your soul, but nevertheless, LOVE THEM, and treat them as you would treat people on the job or etc. that are annoying and bitter with their lifestyle. The reason they are that way is because of events in their life that molded them to be bitter. They did have the choice to not fall into temptation of bitterness, but some things are hard to bear when alone. Even when facing hardtimes alone, that is when the real test begins to seek God's guidance, grace and mercy.

Eventually God will teach them not to do that because they will not like it to happen to them.

This is what I am learning and undersanding right now. I am not perfect, but it sure does hurt when your relative insults you with harsh remarks. It takes a strong person to overlook their relatives faults and love them no matter what.

Remember that each day is a different experience in life if you pay attemtion.

God Bless.

Tell the truth or keep it as toxic shame.

This is the straight gospel! I have a friend who cannot understand why his mother can be so cruel to him at times!! I have told him that it is not him, but issues that his mother has and issues that she needs to deal with. It still hurts him, but he loves her nevertheless. Your family can be your enemies, but you have to LOVE them regardless of their treatment! You will be blessed in the end by doing so!!
