Fellow Alumni...It's almost time for the Class of 2010 to head to their respective campuses and we all know how that can be. There are things that we as alumni can warn them of / advise them on before hand that the upperclassmen won't tell them about. What words of wisdom/advice do you have to offer?

Incoming Freshmen...LISTEN CAREFULLY & TAKE HEED! lol These things may not happen to you, but you better believe it goes down! lol

Schedule your classes to end as early as possible on Fridays in order to prevent skipping. You will be ready to go home on Fridays as soon as you can. Also sign up for classes as late on Mondays as possible. It's hard to wake up after partying over the weekend. It will help prevent skipping. Take it from us.

Find out what your professor's attitude is about missed classes. At Prairie View's orientation we found out that a certain number of unexcused absences will take your letter grade down one. I know some people say that you go to class whenever you want to as long as you do the work and pass the exams, but make sure.
