I got my classes!!
Yesterday was pre-registration @ Claflin. I got there early that morning, listened to the president and VP. Then Ms. Greene, director of TFC called my name for the list of exempted students for the placement test!! How happy was I that I didn't have to take that test?!?! EXTREMELY!!! I was not prepared for it. After that I met two teachers in my department and they help me make my FIRST OFFICIAL COLLEGE SCHEDULE.
I have my classes how I want them. My earliest class starts at 9am and thats only a PE class. other than that everything is after 9:30 and I'll be done by 3pm everyday.
I felt so adult yesterday. I had my mom walk around campus and sit to the side and I handled all the business. I went to housing, financial aid, and set up a payment plan without her!
After that I took my id picture and I was out that piece! DONE!!!! and 3hours before I was suppose to be done!
I now know college is a bunch of lines, but I'm patient and I can't wait until August 12, moving day!
------Do any other HBCU's take their freshmen on a freshmen retreat? I know we move in Sat &Sun and Monday finish any registering, then they said no telephone, no t.v, no nothing cause we going to the woods. I don't know about that!
