Aww man, try going into each semester thinking you have a good math teacher and end up with a grade that causes you to retake the course. Hopefully I will not have to retake the next level. I've heard it is super tough but I chose a teacher that I know have some skills at breaking down the material. At least that's what I experienced when he subbed my class one day. We all just need a little encouragement and prayer.
I say congraulations and I'm proud to see Your initiative, I call that the best!
You go Lady!
the same thing happened to me too. I have NEVER liked math. I am an English buff so I passed that part of my test with no problems. The math wasn't even all that hard. I just rushed to get the math over with and did poorly. It's not the end of the world though. It's ony freshman year. It could be worse, we could be in a higher level and flunk b/c we don't know what we are doing.
The exam was basically Trig. There was factoring and logarithems. There were also a few functions on the exam. The whole sin, cos, and tan thing. If you review a trig text book you shouldn't have problem with the exam. I wish you the best of luck. hopefully you'll do better than I did
dont feel bad. i took my test a while ago. i had just finished school. i felt too dumb like it was just wrong. my friend was sittin there tryin to help me and she was lost. if things went that bad guess well see each other n the dorm and in a class. Youll get passed all that tho.
From one Simone to another, I feel your "pain". I got 18 of 40 questions right. I thought it would come back to me too....GUESS NOT.
So yeah, I've been put in Algebra I. I took Algebra I in 10th grade. I'm so embarrassed. I know I'm smarter than that.
See the thing about me is, I HATE MATH, but I do well in it.
Oh well.
Okay, so Math ain't my hot spot either, but overall, I think I do pretty well in it recently. Anyway, on the placement exam they said Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Intro to Statistics...that leaves me with three choices! Does anyone know how I should decide which to take?...

Simone, you most definitely are not the only one. If it was that bad, we might actually be in class together! I wish I hadn't spent all of my time reading, and actually learned some math skills! Now I'm going to be in this great English class, and this low level math class. Talk about unbalanced!
