Discrimination
Why is it that people say that racism doesnt exist but as soon as a blakc male goes for an interview with dreads or braids he is automatically diqualified in the interviewers head or why is it that on an application your have to put your ethnicity and that black women an men are always stereotyped
Discrimination still exists, but now its like a cold instead of a terminal illness. It can be overcome because it many instances it has been. Its not the end result of a situation unless you allow it to be. I think we have become so used to taking the hits of discrimination that we don't realize our ability to not only block them, but to dodge them all together.
