Of course I am here to stand.
My fellow descendants of Nubia, the oldest and most beautiful of continents is failing. The face of Africa has been ripped and divided for the past six centuries. We have been suplanted, killed, abused, and set against each other when in times past we have always been united. We are only a shadow of our former selves. Our brothers starve in the homeland, they die of a man-made disease that threatens to wipe out this beautiful race. What is this entity that stomps on us, crushes our ancient beauty into dust? It is the beast of oppression. It is the mark of ignorance and dependence when once we were the most independent. We led the world in intelligence and wisdom. The great Grecian Historian Diodorus Siculus said in one of his volumes on the Nubians : "From all time they have enjoyed a state of peace one with another, and although many powerful rulers have made war upon them, not one of them has succeeded in his undertaking". Why has this changed? The past has hurt us, yes, but not crippled us. We must rebuild the old and the new people of Africa. Even though we have not been allowed to discover our past through displacement, this does not mean that our past does not live inside of us. Brothas, Sistas, we must live the lives that we were meant to live. Proud, beautiful, strong, and brilliant. Everyone must know that the Revolution isn't coming. It is here my friends. We have to lead it! If we do not, who will? I am here to stand and be ready like the ancient Nubian soldiers against outside invaders. Are you ready?
Wow, deep, great that you share knowledge and I commend you for your boldness, stance, initiative and convictions.
