Well how bout Raccoon, Squirrel or Dove?
I stored Squirrel and Dove over to my boyz house in FLA, I would shoot dem down out of a Oak Tree. I would place a stone in between 2 oak trees and put corn on them and pick off a squirrel or dove out of the tree, run when I shotem (BB-gun, expert sharp shooter in military 38 out of 40 targets) and finish dem off in de head. I would gut them, something I learned as a kid working on my Uncles farm, pack dem in ice and vinegar to cure the meat like for any worms, bacteria and to get the game out, store them in plastic sandwich freeze bag so they woild not get ice burn and we saved them for the 1st football game of the year and I grilled them. Awesome!!!
I remember my Cuz Tony who grilled a Raccoon stuffed with peppers, onions etc. and glazed and basted in honey, one of the best eatn's Ya could eva have and I remember de year me and de fellas cooked 2 pigs in the ground, we stuck poles up through them (If ya know what I mean, don't wanna get too graphic here and gross out any1 or offend any1) and out through their mouthes, one stick knocked the pigs tongue out, packed him with goodies and rapped aluminum foil up under him and put him on a nice bed of coals and oak wood. I got mad because one of the guys got dumb and left pork out all night long, guess what the smell was in the a.m. Sorry any Muslim or Islam people...
I remember how we were pikn off his ears as they turned dark and had pork rinds!! UM UM Good!

So Anyone want sum Chittlns as much as I do?
Yes???
No??
maybe?

Okayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...................
Raccoon, Dove or Squirrel, oh I did eat rattle snake one time in the mountains of Elpaso. Raul and his wife and children and my ex back in the military all went campn for da weekend.
Me and Raul went to see the sites at the swimming pool (We told our ladies we were going for supplies (^;^), well hours later, a couple of course, the Women told us they had killed a rattlesnake. I thought they were jokn. When I saw him, I told dem, I heard rattlesnakes could be eatn, well Raul unbeknowngst to me, knew how to cut the rattlesnake well behind de head and peeled back his flesh, guttted him, cleaned him, Dolly his wife seasoned, put in a skillet and believe it or not, had plenty of meat on em.
Tasted like Chicken ......... (^;^)

I eat em! Give me a plate with hot sauce and some cole slaw (made by my mother in law) and I'm good. My kids won't eat them so that's more for me and my husband. They don't know what they are missing.

Now you can have all that wild meat. I don't eat all that other stuff. No rabbit, coon, squirrel or anything else except a deer. Now I can eat me some deer sausage and ground deer makes really good spaghetti and chili.
