Howard Housing Situation
I finally got through to the Housing people at Howard. It turns out we sent them a personal check and they don't take personal checks! So I had no housing assignment. I'm just so mad, because they did not notify me. I called them so many times myself and never got through to anyone, but when my dad called, then they wanted to talk about the situation. You really have to stay on them folk. Anyhow, I'ma send a money order in by fedex and tomorrow calling to see if they receive it. Then, I WILL get my housing assignment tomorrow. Tomorrow is the day. I guess the purpose for this post is to let everybody know, don't hesitate, call your college administration and don't wait for them to contact you. If you have a question, call everyday until they hear you!
Yes, I know what you mean.It took me a while to get through to the financial aid office.I thought I wasn't going to have any money to for the semester which is worst than not having a room assigned.But yea, if you don't stay on top of them, they will let things go down hill.They figure we should be adults and do things on our own that's why.So good luck getting your room assigned.I'm in Meridian hall.Got my own room when I get there in august.Good luck.
