Mega-Fest 2006 (Any1 plan 2 go?) and HBCU cruise
Mega-Fest will start on the 19th of next month.
I will be driving up with some older Church ladies that I drove up with the 1st time I attended. Quite a few people from Waycross attend and I even saw some home people there the 1st time I went.
I missed last year and went the previous year and thoroughly loved the events and it was great to mingle with people from soo many different places.
I have communicated with a few from this site who inquired if I were going or not.
I plan to as the Lord Will plan to go. I do have family and friends that are there, quite a few from my hometown in FLA. Plus my brother recently moved there and is working on his Doctorates that I recently found out yesterday.
Anyway I plan to register for a room because too much influence from my homeboys and homegirls. I remember the 1st year I went and that was a struggle to leave all what went on at Mega-Fest and then the fellas throwing a get together to let all the home people know You are there and Henessy sitting there. Keeping it real, having to chill but beup all night, go to my Aunts house in Stone Mountain, shower and catch the transit because traffic is too backed up from Atl past Stone Mountain.
I feel it would be awesome to meet HBCU folk especially a meeting point before the HBCU cruise in November (11-18).
I mean what a great way to start off... For those who plan to attend and so many folk from all across the nation and the world.
I look forward to making/meeting acqaintance in person. I believe it will be great to see who You are and for Me to see who You are especially under such an event.
Well anyway, just posting my thoughts on advancing all the great things that go on at this site due to great people being here.
