Attending College 600 miles away

yo I know how you feel. Im from DC and Im goin down to A&T in the fall. I have ZERO family down there. Just make sure you keep your head on straight and you should be alright.

im getting more nervous as it gets closer to the time i gonna leave. im leaving san diego to go to prairie view. i dont have anybody in tx really so i hope i adjust real fast.

Well im movin from Texas to Georgia to go to Spelman and i'm not scared just think of it as a long vacation period but then again i'm always in different states away from family but i'm sure once you get adjusted it will be cool

Im goin to Tuskegee n im from Elkhart,IN...thats 20 minutes east of the University of Notre Dame...but my parents movin ova da summer 2 VA...n i dnt got any fam in Bama...

I'm leaving Minnesota to go to Howard in D.C. I don't have any family over there, the closest is my dad's family in Philly. The rest of my fam is in TX. I'm a lil nervous, since I'm a small city girl, but I'm not country and I know where I came from, and I know where I'm going, so no real worries. Besides, I'm tired of the Midwest, and I am so tired of Minnesota... New place, new life; change is exciting and I'm ready for it.

Yeah, I'm going from Dallas to Spelman and I have no family there. But, I'm pretty sure we will all bond and become family soon.

I'm going to Clark Atlanta University. About 3,000 miles from Home. I got a few people up there but I really don't know them. I just hope to meet new people out there so that I will have people to celebrate with.
