I know when yall see my blog title u'll be like "So do i...and?" Well yea i kno that but i'm just tryin to type out my fustration. I got accepted to 8 schools so far and all of them are too much, no matter how much fincial aid i got. i am so mad. My dad said i might not go to Howard cause we ain't got the money for it actually he said that i might have to go to a junior college and get the easy classes out of the way. But i really don't want to. I am so sad and mad. I am applying to almost all the scholarships coming my way but nothing came yet. i really don't understand why i didn't get any finacial aid from any of the schools i applied to even though i filed my FAFSA in early Feburary before all the priority deadlines. i am so mad....gosh...so what helped u guys in this situation?

Gurl, Like you said I would say, i do too! But I'm here not to talk about me, but To give you a word of encouragement. I, too am in the same financial boat that you are in. I also have been accepted to Howard and that is my top choice and like you, money is my major issue. My mom wanted me to go to the community college for two years and then transfer. I had to explain to her that I've been blessed to even be excepted to the MECCA and I need to hop on the oppurtunity. It made her realize that I can make it and that GOd will make a way as well. But look, there are many venues to get you to Howard. Just keep filling out scholarship forms and things and something will come along. And even if you have to take out a loan or work thugh college. There are ways to make it. Keep your head up. Holla back and sign your girl's guest book.
