Part One - The Stillborn

There was a woman who always knew that she wanted childeren. She would be happy with anything that God blessed her with. But deep down inside she longed for a daughter, because growing up was hard for her and she wanted to be able to provide her daughter with all the things that she didn't have as a little girl growing up. She wanted to shower her with love, faith in God, oppurtunity, guidence, protection, and much more. When the time came for the woman to have children she had a baby girl. She carried that baby for nine months. When the time came for that baby to be born she was overjoyed. But her joy soon dimished to sorrow the baby was born dead.

Part Two - The Second Try

When the woman had noticed that dwelling in sorrow would not bring her lost daugther back she decided to try again. She knew God would not do anything to discourage her on purpose and that the Devil was just try to keep her from being happy. So she tried again to have a child and she was blessed with another daughter. She also carried this baby around for nine months. The time came for the little girl to be born...she was born healthy and the woman was estatic. But about a month later the baby had gotten sick and died.

Part Three - Four New Blessings

The woman would not let her losses keep her down. She harboured sorrow and love in her heart for the two children that she lost but she knew that she had to move on. She never gave up her hope of having a daughter so she went on to adopted two little girls. Their names were Ceclia and Gloria. Soon after she got pregnant again about two years later and was blessed with a little boy, who she named David. Six years later she got pregnat again was blessed with another little boy who she named Ignitious.

Part Four - The War

About five years later the war had broken out in Libreia where the woman was from. She refused to let her children suffer like she had while she was growing up. But since the war had come she had to find a way to make sure her childrens' lifestyle did not have to change because of the war and in order for that to happen she had to relocate her children to Ghana where here sister lived , and she had to come to America. She would have loved to have the oppurtunity to take the childre with her but she couldn't because the goverment wouldn't allow it. And the only way she could give her children a stable home was to leave them behind and come and work in America. It was hard for her but she did what she had to do.

Part Five - New Beginnings

The woman came overseas to America and went straight to work. As she was working she contiually sent money to her family back home. After about five years she got pregnant. She carried this baby around for almost ten months! And on September 3, 1990 she finally had the baby. She had gotten what she always wanted a girl ! She named the girl Perpetual Anastasia after "Our Lady of Perpetual Help" who was a saint in the bible, and Anastasia was the woman middle name thw womans' mothers' middle name. The woman also knew that Perpetual meant everlasting and that this little girl would always belonged to her and no one else.

That little girl was me and the woman is my mother, I'm her third ( but first living biological)daughter. And a year and a half later she got pregnant again and had my little brother. The moral of the story is that every misfortune is a blessing. There is a blessing in every lesson. God will never put you in a situation you can't handle. Also he will never lead you in the wrong direction as long as you have faith in him.
