What's up? I'm a rising senior in high school but as my graduation from high school approaches i realize that it's almost time for me to begin my new life...Setting out and making adult decisions. I kind of have a obstacle that i need to resolve or overcome before my time to depart from my home life arrives..I want to go to a school that is about 3 hours from my home but at the same time i'm currently involved and have been involved in a very serious relationship and the person i'm involved with goes to an HBCU in my hometown. What do i do? I'm torn between leaving my love and risking the demise of my highly cherished relationship but another part of me thinks that i should just stay in my hometown and attend the school that is there in order to stay with my love...People continuously tell me that i shouldnt set aside my dreams for someone else but at the same time if i can fufill the same desires at the HBCU in Nashville then what difference does it make? But in contrast i dont want to miss the college experience and wouldnt want to prevent myself from living and experiencing life....WHAT WOULD YOU SUGGEST?

Go to the school you really want to go to...if you all are meant to be together you will be no matter how far away you are. True love will be able to withstand a little distance... so listen your intuition and your dreams...love will follow. Hope this helped...i know i sound corny tho! But put you first! ~BrieBrie~

What a great problem you have, choosing which way to go forward in your life.
I am proud of you for what you are doing and having the wisdom to ask questions.
Try reading Jer 33:3,6 and know that Isa 40:28-31 is just for you.
Hope to hear/see more Sis, I know I will
Blessings
William
