Background
To say a little about myself, I am a seventeen year old junior at Cass Technical High School in Detroit, MI. I am a huge fan of all HBCU, and think that all these schools will really benefit people, especially the black community. I just came back from a black college tour with the NAACP over spring break and I have made the decision to go to a HBCU. Since they were so unorganized though, the only one's that I have any interest in are: Tennessee State University, Alabama A&M, and North Carolina A&T. Anyone who is willing I want to learn all I can about all sorts of colleges, so just write me. Also, I want to say that I plan to join a soroity and have no idea which one yet. I want to really learn alot about those so I can join a group like the AKA Teens while I'm still in high school. So until next time.

Get on the internet and check out the schools online. See what they offer in your major and begin to search for scholarships now. It's not too early. Stop into your counselor's office to talk over your plans for the future. Remember that you cannot go by somone else's
experience. You've got a lot of work ahead.
What is your intended major?
