Book by Obstetrician/Gynecologist- Offers Straightforward Advice to Women

Columbus, Ohio- obstetrician/gynecologist Ngozi Osuagwu, MD,FACOG, RYT is educating women about the most common female health issues in her book being released, April 28th, Letters to My Sisters: Plain Truths and Straightforward Advice from a Gynecologist.

" I just started to write letters about different women's health topics," said Dr. Osuagwu. " They weren't addressed to anyone in particular but inspired by actual conversations I had with patients. It gave me an avenue to offer honest advice to all women on disease and conditions that can be difficult or embarrassing for them to talk about."

" I want women to know there are valuable resources at there and that they're not alone in many of the issues they face. My goal in writing this book was to help as many women as possible become better consumers of heathcare services," said Dr. Osuagwu.

A graduate of The John Hopkins University and State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, Dr. Osuagwu is a board certified OB/GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher.
