Hey all, I'm having trouble picking a college to go to. I got accepted into a lot of schools but my top choices are Howard, Hampton, Spelman and Xavier. I plan on majoring in Biology-Pre-Med. Can u all tell me a little about these schools from a students stand point.

Hey I got into the same schools and am majoring in the same thing. I have choosen to go to Howard. The rest of the schools are really great but when I went to visit Xavier I didnt think it was me. They allow you a ample amount of guidance in your studies. You have to meet with a advisor every week. The program is very difficult. The city of New Orleans just like DC dont get me wrong is dirty. Xavier is a Catholic school therefore religion is a important aspect of the school. If you are not very religious orientiented and dont understand the Catholic faith. The school may not be for you. That is just my opinion. Now the reason I turned Hampton down was because of the $600 registration fee as well as the strict dress code. I really didnt have to much to say about Spelman their science program has not been very publicized. But the program is good. I think that your decision may come down to what city you really want to be in. I hope you figure out where you are going to go. good luck in all your endeavors.

I also think Howard isthe best chose for biology/pre-med. I live in New Orleans and Xavier is a great school, so are the others. But in the end you have to do what your heart tells you!
