Man, yall I'm so excited to be leaveing for school this Fall, I will be attending Fisk University, but I'm so nervous I just keep thinkin about whats gonna happen? especially me and my room mate, she gotta be just cool laid back and not a pig, I dont ask for to much and know wants hers and mine, but my momma did teach me how to share. Its also gonna be hard leave'N Chicago, when all my friends stayin here. I'm goin into a whole different environment, the south! and am SCURRED! LOL! but I heard everybody real cool down there, so I just stay optimistic, and just suddenly found Jesus, cause I'm gonna be away from my mommy and my daddy. lol It's my time to finally grow up.

I am nervous too about going to Fisk. I am a daddy's girl and leaving him and my family behind will be hard, but I want to prove to them and myself that I can make it in this world. I know it will be hard for the both of us and there are going to be times where we just want to come home. We just have to pray and be strong. I know everything will be okay and just remember that you can always come back home. Just remember that God will never put more on you than you can bear. It will work out. God bless lady and I will see you in August.

I'm excited to go college. This is going to be a new experience for me and the first time that I have been away from my mom for a long periods of time.
Oh yeah I got accepted to Fisk University too. I was really happy when I get the letter. I really want to go but I'm afraid. The South is a whole different place. I don't know I guess it is because I'm from Cali.
But don't worry you will do fine in college.

Baby Gurl!! You have nothing to be afraid of as long as I am on the Fosk campus with you!!! The environment is so loving there!! Especially the girls in Jubilee Hall! I have lived in Tennessee all of my life!! I also live about 15-20 minutes away from the campus, so if you need anything or place to stay if you do not make it home for the breaks, cause they will close the halls and put you out, I will always be here, there, and around!! The same goes for Brittany as well!! Much love, peace out, and Fisk Forever!!
