You have to pray just like we did for y'all and our parents did for us. When you are older it's easy to see what's deficient in younger people; but the sad thing is that someone felt the same way when you were younger. We have to be there for them as someone to look up to and admire. We have to lead by example. You won't be able to help everyone, but anyone you help will be an accomplishment. Someone famous said each one teach one.

I feel what ur saying to a certain extent. True, the people who are coming after us are getting "dumber", but what about people our age and older. We are allowing it. I agree with Nikko, you need to mentor at least one. It is not just the new generation not listening to our history, but it is the older generation not teaching us to listen and understand our history at a young age. I know when I was little my mom always told me to stop and listen, and from then on I began to learn. I'm sad to say it, but everyone will not know their history. It is up to us, the ones who see history's importance, to embrace and learn from it for our race. We will become leaders in our community because of our awareness.

Well if thats the case I be me...I've come 2 far in life fa sum1 2 think I gotta be stupid 2 be real! Come on now n why do our ppl still think you bad if you beat dw a minor!!!!!!!!!!!! what is it we can gain 4rm that except battery charges for touchin a minor! Why cant more young blk ppl want more from life...Dnt think bout hustlen fa money 2day...think about what you can do 2 live a comfortable lifestyle! I feel ya that ppl gettin "dumber" though! Cause Im tired of watchin it...at church this brotha jus was shocked i dnt fight! I was like...Um NO, thats lame! N a minister had 2 stick up 4 me 2 get him 2 believe it! It even seems that adults dont believe we can be a certain way either! The only way we can fix it is to pray n do the right thing. Forget what ppl may think of you now...cause once we "make it" they'll see. Like I go 2 the High school Shawn Kemp went 2.
