Holding a Grudge Isn't Healthy

Holding a Grudge Isn't Healthy

Candice Johnson · Wednesday, January 25th 2006 at 10:03AM · 230 views
We all make mistakes because we are not perfect. Sometimes we do or say things unintentionally to people that hurts them emotionally. Some people are just bitter from circumstances and do it from a bad habit developed. Sometimes we are at the receiving end of the unintetional hurtful actions.

We have the choice to either hold a grudge or forgive the person of the action conducted. When we hold a grudge, it takes away aspects of our life. It interferes with our emotions, health, relationship with others, intellect, and our conection with God (not God's connection with us).

Try not to hold a grudge against someone when they hurt. We do not know what they are going or been through in their everday life.
We have our own lives to be accounted for and to God.

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding"
Prverbs 3 verse 5.

Take Care of your self for there is only one you. Whether you notice it or not, you are a blessing to the people in your lives.

Good topic Candice! I totally agree. Holding a grudge is just not of God. If it's not of God then it can't be any good to it. We surely wouldn't want God to hold a grudge against us for the things we've done. We have to learn to love each other as God loves us; in spite of our unworthiness.
