Polite; Bloomfield Lead WSSU All-CIAA Selections
Charlotte, N.C. - The Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) in conjunction with its Football Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association has released the 2015 All-CIAA First, Second and Honorable Mention teams, as well as the All-Rookie Team.
The Players of the Year and the First Team All-CIAA honorees will receive their awards during a pre-game ceremony prior to the start of the 2015 CIAA Football Championship game. The Championship game will be held at the Durham County Memorial Stadium in Durham, North Carolina. Kickoff is 2:00 p.m. The game will be aired live on the ASPiRE Network.
The Winston-Salem State University Rams have 12 student-athletes who have earned conference honors.
Offensive lineman Jac'Que Polite and defensive lineman, Michael Bloomfield, were named to the All-CIAA first team.
