Yes!!! I finally found somebody that can relate to me. My mother is like that too and she hasn't helped with anything financially but wants to add her input as to where I wanna go.

Girl, my parents are kinda acting like that. My momma keeps saying stuff like.."let's see if you go to HU in the fall" when we have a disagreement. I'm like what ever. I too worked over christmas break w/ all these rowdy customers at Target for my enrollment money. I sent it in already and u best believe I'M GOING TO HOWARD IN THE FALL.

sure enough, my parents be trippin bout dat. Im from GA and dat whole Hope thing... whatever, Im going to Howard, regardless of what they say. They'll be okay tho ;)
