No you don't have to fill out an essay. Congrats Ashley. I just applied now I am waiting to here back from the school. I am not that knowledgable but the only way that you would know that the school is for you contact the school and let them know that you want to tour the school and maybe try to meet some friends so you can go chill one weekend like me....? If there is anything else let me know
Hey girl, I just got ur message! But I like NCCU for the most part. Every school has its ups & downs!! But I can say that the falcuty here, will do everything they can to help you in whatever you need. Its a very friendly oriented campus. There's usually something goingon all the time, you just gotta be upon it. The dorms are nice, mosylt all of them are renovated.... so their practically new. Ummm........ academics is good, sports are good. So, yuo should defnitely come!! If you need anything else just e-mail me........ liljazz86@aol.com
