Well, the year passed. I was sitting in my car and I thought how good God has been this past year. I immediately began weeping while driving down Green Springs! This is phenomenal.

1. I asked God for a job 8am-5pm (He gave me an 8am-4:15pm)

2. I asked God for a job with my own desk & phone (He gave me my own desk & phone line at work)

3. I prayed to God to heal my grandmother of breast cancer & keep her strong through radiation (She tried to walk out of the cancer surgery, she was ready to go. She is even stronger after radiation. NO WEIGHT LOSS or CANCER SHOWING)

4. I prayed for my teacher to give me a certain grade. (She gave it too me even though I didn’t deserve it. I had rehearsals at church)

5. I was looking at shirts in Macys but didn’t want to buy them so I could buy others gifts. (My mother won a gift card to Macys and gave it to me.)

6. This time last year my car was broke. I was walking to the lab & had no job. (This week I will be getting a new car & interviewing for other jobs)

7. I asked God to take me higher in music. (Did overdubs in Atlanta for a CD, and then did overdubs with my choir for a National ALBUM ON TYSCOT RECORDS)

8. I prayed to be healed I checked into the hospital with dehydration & kidney problems earlier this year. (I haven't been really sick this past year since then. I don't even have many sniffles!!)

9. I prayed for all enemies of my organization to be able to see that my work is not in vein and for God to show victory & God's will in my org. that has been under my leadership. (My org won the BEST CHAPTER IN THE SOUTHEAST AWARD, I got the chance to be on the Tom Joyner Show with my org)

10. I prayed for my sister to be healed. She almost had a miscarriage; she was chronically bleeding from the womb. My church (NEW HOPE) prayed for her at 12pm. I called her at 1:30pm the same day and the bleeding stopped. She got out of the bed and was healed!

THERES MORE…BUT I JUST CAN’T TELL IT ALL!

Oh Lord you're my every thing. Praise waiteth for thee my king..Oh thou who hearest every prayer..Oh Lord you’re my every thing.
You are my light that shines in midst of darkness. You are my help in time of trouble. Where would I be without your mercy? Oh Lord you're my everything!

THIS IS MY TESTIMONY.
Things I did:

1. I tithed.
2. I prayed more.
3. I worked in my church more and was dedicated.

GOD WANTS YOUR DEDICATION. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH! I JUST WANT TO SEE WHAT HE IS GOING TO DO NEXT!

It is inspiring. It shows that despite the negativity that was going around, you were able to see the goodness and blessings of God that he has done for you. Thank you for sharing this. It will help me to look back and overcome some darkness in my past that was never really important. I too am a broadcast major seeking a master's degree. I am applying to get into grad school.

I'll share one thing. I applied to USC in South Carolina for my master's. I was rejected only because of my GRE score. They told me I will not be able to do well in the class. (Wrong) That test does not measure how smart you are. When I was rejected, I felt numb. It felt like there was nothing else for me because I was used to goin to school consecutiviely each year. I love academics, but it showed me that I am now allowing God to guide my steps. My plan was to stay in South Carolina, work for a TV station as a reporter or producer and live there. I am originally from New york, but I guess that is where God wants me to be. Now I am back in NY.

Right now I am applying to a New School that will start in the fall of 2006. It is called the CUNY graduate school of journalism and does not require the GRE as apart of requirements. Even the coordinator of admissions told me frankly she sees no reason in taking the GRE. One day when I have a family of my own, I will make sure my children will get the best education they deserve.

God Bless
