Man's Rib

Man's Rib

Artra D. Abraham Mcnei · Sunday, December 11th 2005 at 3:26AM · 184 views
What is it that protects a man's lungs
so close to his breath
the same breath that was given from God Himself
the one piece taken to make another explicit intricate well made partner for life
the creature that God had to take rest right after making
taking and presenting that to man
the very thing that is closer than anything in the world
that main motive and purpose was to be of assistance and protect the man's heart
to help influence for good and disregard evil
the same that would rather break than see the heart get broken
so selfless a token of love itself
when a man inhales and exhales the rib is there
cannot stop heart failure but is there for support.
Something a man would do anything to keep from being broken.
Protect at all costs, hands down
his ribs( Queen)

Giving credit where due Bro, this is one of the tightest and deepest Poems I have ever read.
Keep up that gift Bro.

Nicely written. You have great perspective and appreciation of the gift that woman was meant to be to man.
God Bless.
