FIFTY-FIVE BODIES, AND ZERO TRIALS, AT THE FLORIDA SCHOOL FOR BOYS

DAVID JOHNSON · Friday, January 31st 2014 at 1:58PM · 870 views
The Florida School for Boys has always had a notorious reputation for its Inhumane treatment of boy residents. Now 55 human remains have been discovered which show the death count is far higher than staff previously indicated. In 1973 I attended a 'so called' funeral for a inmate who had bern stabbed 27 times at Georgia's Ruedsville Prison. The burial site showed no headstones or markers so it was hard to tell how many were there. Family was called but like most they were poor and had no monies to bring the man home. Myself and another African American, Department of Corrections employee said a few words over the gravesite after he was put in the ground...it was almost like he never existed. The FSFB's is being pressured to explain how and why so many young kids have died under their jurisdiction. Surely a few are explainable but the majority remain in question?

I hear them saying that any child there deserves to be tried in a court of law for wrongdoing. To be judged guilty, killed and buried is contrary to rules of law. Even if they did or were doing something wrong like endangering lives of others...they deserve an investigation and justifiable documentation of their deaths. What this article is saying is bodies have been found which is greater than documented records. Why?
