Feelin Bad...

Darryl D. Smith · Thursday, December 1st 2005 at 3:59AM · 2048 views
Why is it that I try so hard to be nice to people...only to get stepped on? Why is it always the nice guy that finishes last? I remember when we used to cheer on the good guys. What happened to those glorious days? Why do we always want to go after the sluts, dog-ass n*ggas, or people that'll mess you over in a second? It's a shame that people go after those instead of those that value the friendship more...

Darryl, people who treat you wrong aren't worthy of your friendship anyways. Remember, it's their loss, not yours. You just keep being the positive person that you are and keep yourself surronded by positive people.

I completely know how you feel. No matter how nice you try to be people take advantage of you... You don't stop being nice just say to hell with them and move on. The person who's trying to make you feel bad is doing it simply because they feel bad themselves.

Amen to that everyone, I agree with all of you. Darryl, I was also in a similar situation, but don't worry, it just shows we understand what true love and compassion is because we were surrounded by it. Just continue to pray for them and move on, it's not easy sometimes to move on from being stepped on so much; it takes time. Remember God did not create the worl in one day; eventually what hurt us today will be long forgotten in the future because God would heal us if we trust him. God Bless everyone and stay strong. Listen to the song "for the good" by bihop paul s morton (im not really sure, but the song starts with the lyrics "the race is not give to the swift, nor to the poor, but to the one that endureth."
