Bowie, Maryland – For the first time in school history, the Bulldogs of Bowie State University (www.bowiestate.edu) will host the 2005 NCAA Div. II Men's Basketball South Atlantic Regionals. Top seeded Bowie State will face Tusculum (#8 Seed) on Saturday, March 12, 2005 in the A.C. Jordan Arena on the campus of Bowie State University at 6:00 p.m.
Other Saturday matchups include the CIAA champions of Virginia Union (#2 Seed) against Catawba (#7 Seed) @ 2:30 p.m., Winston-Salem State (#6 Seed) will take on South Carolina - Upstate (#3 Seed) @ 12:00 p.m. and Columbus State (#5 Seed), winners of the Peach Belt Conference title will battle with the defending NCAA Champions of Kennesaw State (#4 Seed) @ 8:30 p.m.
