Jynx

The Prince George County born, Barnes, has been taking control over his destiny all of his life. Barnes, or as he is affectionately called by his friends, “Jynx”, started singing at five years old. At the age of ten, Jynx began archiving his personal experiences in a little notebook, one that he still has to this day. Those experiences would eventually become the centerpieces of his first songs.

His unrelenting pursuit of musical growth resulted in him joining and participating in the school choir and band. From this, he developed a well-rounded view of the arts, as well as positioning himself to receive a full musical scholarship to Norfolk State University.


So what is next for this gifted member of Lot 14? His only reply, “Taking over”.
