A Person Who Knows Everything Is Dangerous

I like to announce that I don't like people whom claims they know everything. I know a lot of people encountered individuals who always say; do it this way, I already knew that, and I told you that was going to happen. Are these people pyschics were they can predict your every move and outcome. For instances, if you driving and you are going the wrong direction, and you stop at a gas station to get directions; when you get back in the car the person says, I knew you were going the wrong direction. Also, for people who try to control your life, they always want you to do things there way. For example, they tell you how to dress, what you should major in college, who to date, how to spend your money etc. Those individuals are the first people to tell you that you are doing something wrong, and you need to do it there way because you will have a better outcome. I believe in taking advice, but don't persuade or control my decisions. Usually that's why it takes time for people to find themselve's because other people clog their minds with their habits and their way of thinking. I believe people should take advice, but at the same time be free thinkers. My uncle always told me if you don't take charge of your life, someone else will.

Cool post Tony. I think we can all be stubborn at times. But there is a danger zone for those who think they know everything and I have met these type folks that were coincidentally atheist, agnostic, other forms of worship etc. They had gone beyong certain realms of knowledge and everyone else were beneath them. You ought to hear what they think about folk who believe in God, they call us all stupid.
I think we all can compromise in some things and in other area i.e. murder, abuse, rape etc. , you know the obvious things.
There is one thing with confidence, this is mentioned in the Bible but via God, there is another thing about pride, ego etc.
No one knows it all and as you have seen this has been a major battle with many theologians, who knows this, that etc. Attitude has a lot to do with that.
Again there has to be moderation in many aspects of human interactions based on God not people. Thats difficult.
Peace Bro.

It is wise to avoid these "intellectuals" at all cost. They are so "smart" that they never realize that you are on to their game. If they know so much, figure out the world's problems and to try to solve them. Or do they stay at a Holiday Inn Express?
