Mark Wilson of Ryla Teleservices
Mark Wilson is chief executive of Ryla Teleservices. Wilson attended Wilberforce University in Ohio, the oldest historically Black private university in the country. He graduated in 1982 with a bachelor's degree in management.
Mark Wilson's corporate career with Dun & Bradstreet, leading provider of business information for credit, marketing, and purchasing decisions worldwide, prepared him for a new career: starting his own business. For more than 15 years, Wilson was in the executive levels of operations and strategy within the call center environment.
When he learned D&B was looking to outsource much of the work he had been doing, he asked to be one of the providers. That was 2001. Four years later, Atlanta-based Ryla Teleservices, the company Wilson founded, is a leading provider of global customer contact solutions for small and medium-sized businesses and government agencies. In March, the company moved to a 48,000-square foot facility with an additional 600-seat capacity.
