I believe she gave you her number because you can never have to many Friends. Girls are not usually thinking about getting with you when they give out their number.

i think she gave u here number because she wanted u for a friend. i know it might not have appeared to be that way when she gave u her number, but she probably didn't think she was doing anything wrong. i have a b/f and i sometimes give my number to guys, but, i tell them that i have a b/f and that i'm only looking for friendship b4 i give my number.

personally, i think it's okay! females want male friends, thats normal, so thats prolly how she was lookin at it. some guys dont wanna talk to no gal with a bf but ya know as i see it, it dont hurt to get a new friend!

i see all those responses and cant help but wonder if they would respond that way if the shoe was on the other foot and their men did that......from personal experience i would say that "most" women have a double standard about this topic.

Like said before "you can never have too many friends". She probably gave you her # because she enjoyed the conversation and she could see herself talking or hanging out with you. Some males don't seem to understand that just because a female gives you her # she interested in the same way you maybe. You ask the question why do females do this. Well i'm asking why do males??? I know many guys who have girls but will give out their # or take a # in a heartbeat. Why is that???

Well me i dont take #'s when i'm with a lady thas disrespectful if u ask me 2 be real. Why u need more friends if your man is sopposed 2 be your best friend and your girls u have? I could see if i was fronting like i wanted 2 be a study buddy or somethin like that but no no no. I was being str8 up with her u know.If i ask 4 a number i see somethin in u that i like.
