Welfare Abuse

Somethings doesn't make since to me. For instances, how the economy and society works. I believe welfare should be provided to the disabled, single mothers, veterans and senior citizens. People who are able to perform a job without discomfort should be on welfare temporarliy. Some people are taking advantage of the government. Kids are continuing to be produced for parents greed of abusing societies hard earned tax dollars. I understand being on welfare to get on your feet, but it shouldn't be a everlasting thing if you are able to work. For example, I work a reputable company called Argus Health Systems, and I work as a pharmacy help desk to assist pharmacist on claims. Well, some people who work with me are on welfare and we make a decent salary with benefits. I might not know there situation, but the conversation within my work enviornment let's me know they are abusing the system. For example, I pay $11 dollars for rent in the suburbs, and I can't wait to get my food stamps etc. It's not fair for the families that can barely make ends meet. Everytime I go to a grocery while I was in college or when I went shoping with my family, I would see people on welfare with two basket full of food. I would be angry because my parents had decent jobs and couldn't afford the food they were buying. If I were president I would set up a program that allow able body people a year of government assistance, and then they are on there own. In this country we shouldn't have homless people, we need to put homeless people on welfare. In a nutshell if the government notice abuse of welfare cut it off especially if the get to live in the suburbs and get prime cut steaks. But, hey what do I know! I'm ready for opinions

I agree with you. I have WIC and medicaid for my child because i have no benifits with my job because it is a student program. But because of the scams people try to pull on the system it makes it even harder for someone who needs it to get it. I dont see why people want to stay on it takes too much hastle. Too much lieing and runing here and there and me personaly cant wait til i can do all this on my own and stop having to worry about if this month can my baby go to the doctor and if insurance dont cover it can i afford it. another thing alot of people dont know is that they use the system against us. it is designed to keep you poor and than they count how many of us are on it and lable us as "poor black folk", and to me that aint even coo.l so hopefully by the end of this year i will be out of that catagory of a "poor black (folk) person" All we are doing is hurting ourselves. Still relying on masta (the goverment) to provide for us.

Amen Bro!!!!!!!!!
My philosophy is it takes a lot to make a baby and carry that baby. The energy expenditure can not be calculated.
But can't work becuse bad bck etc.?
I have dealt with this much in counseling.
I alwys saw negative attitudes despite the intelligence.
Most lacked morals and education.
