Damn you Katrina!

So I'm from Seattle,WA which is nothin like New Orleans but I still wanted to get away from home. The female ta male ratio at Xavier is 12:1, so I was obviously there for the academics. But I remember the day before I had to evacuate to Houston was a Friday. That night, my Bama and Westcoast homies lived it up. First we went to Piccadilly's to eat, then Rainbow for clothes. We ended the night with Bourbon street. I had my first stawberry daquri and ate some beignets. Its sad for New Orleans period but I made some friends I may never see again. But I do plan on going back!
