Question... As a Christian, how should we factor our beliefs and relationship with the Lord with regard to our voting? When some say, "vote the Bible," just what does that entail? Your thoughts... comments.

One big issue is abortion- or a woman's right to choose, if you will. Myself, while I personally believe abortion is wrong (I didn't quite feel the same before I was saved), I do not make it the premier litmus test for choosing a candidate to represent me in civil government.

Politics and faith are mutually exclusive with me. Abortion is only one thing. I am against abortion but how this person chooses to handle the finance of the city county state and federal matters probably more. Some of the policies they believe in for example health care repealing a few amendments and trying to change the retirement age. So when I vote i take all of this into consideration. But social and religious views are big in my area of the country. Personally i believe that government and religion are mutually exclusive in some aspects.
