Could I really miss DU????
So I'm finally home after 5 long days struggling with uncertainty due to Katrina. My school or former school, took the remaining students to CCS in Shreveport (I think that's how u spell it) anyway, everyone was tired and wanted to go home.
It took us nearly a day to get to what was suppose to be a 5 hour drive. three of our buses broke down and one blew up on our way over to CCs. We were all a lil selfish and just complaining about the material things we lost.
I never wanted to go to DU in da first place, it was really my moms decision in me going there and after Katrina hit, I took advantage of the situation by saying I could have died and complainig about my loses.
The truth is, no one could have really prediction N.O. would get hit as bad as it did. And although i'm happy 2 be home, I really was looking forward 2 starting skool. I met sum really great ppl there @ DU that I wish 2 keep in contact with.
I relly didn't like the skool, but its da ppl I missed. The good and da bad onces.
Shout outs to the ppl that made DU interesting:
The Mean Girls, Lightbulb, Beyonce and Kelly Come Get it Shorts(back seat) Lady Bug, Big Bird and of course all the DL brothers. Ya all made sure that I had a good laugh @ DU everyday.
P.S. on a serious note, I want to send a special prayer out to my homie Trey, who not only lost his school, but his house and family business. May GOD Bless you and all of there other families that were deeply affected by Katrina
