Katrina

I just want to take a moment out to send my well wishes to all of you who are/were affected by the hurricane. I was stuck down in a hurricane my first day at Dillard so, i know the fear that is involved. But i know that Andrew is nothing like Katrina, so I send my love and prayers to all of you who are still down there and those who were able to make it out. Having gone to school in Louisisana, I have many friends and Delta sorors who are still there, my children's father was missing from us for four days. So, again, i'm thinking of you and praying for you. Hopefully, things will be able to get back to "normal" on some level soon.

Peace,
Ayanna

P.S. Sorors (from Grambling and Dillard especially), please hit me when you get a chance to let me know you're okay

Hi Soror, I am a recent graduate of Dillard. There were 63 on my line and we just crossed 67 in the Spring. The majority of us are okay. There are still a few sorors that we are havn't been able to put our hands on but we are continually praying for there safety. Everyone who were living in New Orleans has lost everything. They have nothing to go back to but they are hopefully many are in the Houston and Northern Louisiana Atlanta area. So that's what I know thus far.

Hey soror I am in Northern Mississippi and we weren't affected as much, but there were some tragedies. I hope that your family and friends are safe and GOD BLESS. Ms. LaJada Robinson-Delta Eta Chapter
