Hey people!!! I've never been so hot in my life!!! Mississippi like crazy. I like Alcorn State University but Katrina kind of shook me up. I hope everyone made it out okay. I hope everyone's safe and families are safe. I'm in atlanta. The whole state is without power for a couple of days. Be careful everyone the roads are not good. I made it safely home. I'll be back in da 'Sip on tuesday. Peace!!!

Yeh I heard I finally got in touch with my homegirl from Jackson state she said they finally made it to Atlanta. Im like totally blowed away by the damage of this storm .. Its like Andrew all over agin but 10 times worse because you have a city thats about to be lost.

Hello, I am from Mississippi also. The hurricane destroyed nearly my entire town. I live on the gulf coast. I have a classmate attending Alcorn State. Her name is Shakara Harris. Good Luck in school.
