Conceited?
I was reading someone's post on how women settled for "dogs" and it got me thinking how when a woman does try to wait on the "right man" and turns down those so called "dogs" She is viewed by many to be conceited.
Why is a woman conceited when she just doesn't wanna settle for someone that can't do anything for her? Let me give yall an example. I was at the mall and this guy came and tried to talk to me. He was 22 still lived at home with his momma, had no job, and was not trying or talking about going to college...So of course me being the person that I am I shut his a$$ down real quick. And he called me conceited cus I wasn't gonna give him a chance... So after that incident my friend was like yeah that was kind of conceited...and I get mad cus I dont understand why? If it makes you conceited to want someone who is doing something with themselves then yeah I must be conceited. I'm sorry that I don't settle for "anything" that comes up and tries to talk to me...I have standards and I wont lower them... So is that being conceited?

You know...that's a good point that you brought out. I didn't think about that when I wrote that. I am for the women who decide to wait instead of settling for whatever the chef gives them. I think women should have it their way, a little bit of this and that in a man. I don't know why you guys are called conceited. But I'll take a "conceited" woman over a non-conceited woman anyday.
I think you probably should've given the guy a chance though. He may have a good reason as to why he's not in college, lives with his momma, and has no job. Everyone has a reason for something...well almost everyone. If he had no valid reason...then you did the right thing. Some guys still live with their mommas, but can be the best guy you'll ever find. But I'm glad you don't settle for anything that talks to ya...
