An Update On Me Peeps!
Wassup peeps!? First off, congrats to everybody that's made it to school and is in school! I'm still not in school yet, as some paperwork isn't finished yet, but you know how that goes. It's been a while since I blogged here, so I'm going to give some updates.
Just to let you know, I had a wonderful time at my Dallas internship. I met a lot of cool people (especially Mama Mo!) and just had a cool time. The Dallas Examiner gave me a lot of opportunities that I won't forget, and will always hold with me. So, that was a cool first internship.
Came back to Grambling, and it seemed like it changed so much in the little 3 months I've been gone. The change is for the better, even though we missing some things (we still don't have no cable yet...leave me alone KeKe! LOL). But I'm rooming with my homeboy that I've known since I first got to Gram in Fall '03. I won't have to worry about my stuff mysteriously coming up missing now!
I scheduled my classes just right this semester. My earliest class is at 11...and that's a rare thing for a junior. So, I can pretty much stay up late with my Gramblinite and Junior Class President stuff and be energized for the morning. It's a good thing. Looks like this semester will be a good one for me. It's a good thing, though. With all my duties, I need later classes...and my classes are finished by 4...so no prob there!
Man...I'm really content right now...if that's a way to describe it. I finally found someone to fill the void of not having a girl in my life, and I'm very, very content. As she says, I have a big, ole Kool-Aid smile on my face. I smile everytime I see her call, so I'm very excited and blessed to be with her. Hopefully, everything will work out well for us. I'm very confident that things will work out with us. So, I hope you guys give me the moral support, advice, etc., and so on. Just pray for us, my friends. Just to give her a shout-out, you are my special boo Tamara. Good luck at Wiley! Stay focused...and you will always be my sugabooga...

Hey Paper Boy!!! I'm glad you made it back to school safe and am so glad that you took the time out of your busy schedule to hang out with me and my family. The kids ask about you all the time. I will let you know when Meka and I schedule a campus tour at Grambling since we are still deciding from 4 different schools. I'm happy for you and your sugabooga. Make sure she treats you right and let me know if you need anything. Have a wonderful semester and keep in touch!
