Im trying to be grown when i go to college i mean providing for myself and just plain trying to not relye on my mom as im doing now, I mean i depend on my mom alot because she didn't want me to have a job this summer. I mean i was hired for a job and was getting paid but my mom told my manager i needed to quite because i need to get ready for school and stuff so this whole summer i made my money helping my aunt at her day care center she owns. Anyway my family members thinks im going to need all this money when i get down there. I mean yeah im going to need money but i dont want to get to dependant on my family because what if i call and want money and they dont have it. I wanted to try and see if i can live on my own with the money i made not the money my mom is giving me. Anyway my mom and aunts want to send me $50 a week to make sure i have money when i need it. Do yall really think i am going to need this $50 dollars a week?

Never complain about a blessing. I don't even get $50 a week. Be glad that they trying to help you and stuff...as my mom's the only person that REALLY helps me with school.
But I see what you saying though. It is time for you to be independent, but you're doing that by going to college. Don't worry about them giving you money. Now, after you graduate and you've had a job for a few months, then you can be like, "OK...I'm making my own money. I'm independent now."
But if you don't want the money, send it to me. I'll have uses for it...
