Hey Ladies...Have A Question

Darryl D. Smith · Wednesday, August 10th 2005 at 6:53PM · 737 views
You're at a dance. You're chilling, not dancing with anyone but yourself and your homegirls. A guy comes to ask you to dance...what is the guy supposed to do?

The reason I asked is because while I was in Atlanta, I went to this end-of-convention dance for National Association of Black Journalists. I approached this girl that had been throwing me some glances to dance. I tapped her on her waist and started dancing. She, in turn, turned around and started dancing with homegirls again. I did the "snake" move and slid out of there.

I was a little hurt because I was like, "You can't lead peeps on like that." However, my coworker told me it was all about my approach. I've seen guys do the same approach and it works.

So...where did I go wrong? Was I supposed to grab her or something???

Alot or Most girls do not like when someone touches them that they do not know regardless of the situation!! So next time man, Just go up to her and ask her if she wants to dance!! You can't go wrong with that approach..

maybe she was just showin out in front of her homegirls and it had nothing to do with you. if she was giving you the eye then it was something, but her home girls prob. saw you approaching and they "cocked blocked"
