I wonder sometimes
Greetings All,
While putting the finishing touches on the Guardian Angel painting I was also listening to Minister Farrakhan's speeches during the past State of the Union addresses. While his words were uplifting and incredulous I couldn't help but feel a little bit of sadness in them, because had it not been for his actions in the past, Malcolm X's words probably would have been more beneficial to our people (read the autobiography of Malcolm X to learn more of Farrakhan's role in Malcolm's death to gain a true understanding, in case you weren't aware) The question now is would this have been true? I think so, if indeed Farrakhan in his advanced years and mind state is truly remorseful for his responsibility in selling out our people at that time and to the U.S. Government no less and to the extent that it caused the death of someone of the magnitude of Malcolm X then God may forgive him and in some ways. Maybe Malcolm is channeling his words through this man to us...I can see that. Even though Farrakhan's words stir me in and make me want to do more to help my people, in the back of my mind I always wonder what if only.......
