Color guard starts up again

Well today was the end of the 1st week of marching band. This is my senior yr in color guard so im trying to take everthing one step at a time. Though teaching people the work is starting to take its toll on me. I just dont understand how some people cant remember something i taught them not even 5 min. ago!!! At 1st i thought well maybe they are just nervous and for one of them that was the case. ( i have to teach my rank/row and including me their is 4 of us and 1 of them is a returning jr. so she helps me teach the 2 new people) but for the other gurl she just doesnt have cordination!!!!!!!! Now its just like i'm runnig out of ideas of how i can break things down for her to understand it. It like their is a time to learn things and then theirs a time when you just have to suck it all up and do things right away. I mean all we did this week was the school song!!!!! I keep trying to tell her to practice cause thats the easiest work we will do from now on but i think she thinks im playin around and that bothers me. I mean we are only as strong as our weakest member you know. well maybe monday she'll be a little better i hope so it would give me hope on how to help her for the rest of the season.
