Bodies no longer a temple

i sit and listen to these girls around me talking about how they lost their virginities and with who and where and i cant help but shake my head. I mean they talking about in the closet and the bathroom and the basement of their house, their mother's room and all this and not one of them could tell me that they were in the guys room on a bed or that they tried hard to hold out until marriage. I mean if you are of age to be s*xually active then fine do you but if your like 13 or 14 and you talking about you had s*x in ya mom's bed or in the closet does that really sound appealing or promising in a relationship, i mean at times i think when you lose your virginity its suppose to be special and memorable but these girls made it seem like they didnt even care about their bodies. I just want to know what happened to the days were girls knew that their bodies were temples and no one should enter without being the man of their dreams and ready to put a ring on their finger. U know im a virgin and i see why these girls are at battles within their bodies and heart but i still have my expectations for myself and i know when where and how i want to let myself be given away to a guy but i have self control but my question is How long can a person keep self control when there is so many temptations around.
Im out

yeah that's not cool they giving it up at in early age, and especially giving it up to older guys that they can catch AIDS,and STD from or even worst have a baby before they are even ready and they are not physically, mentally, or finanically ready to deal with. They usually just do what they see on TV and weak-minded when it comes to peer pressure. I'm not saying it right or wrong but if you are in that situation we can only pray that you teach your child to do better. That's all I have to say.

I do applaud you Shonda.Gurl you stay strong!!!Because when you do meet the man that God has made especially for you; you will be able to give him a special and most wonderfull gift that no one has ever had.I pray that God will send you someone that has saved himself for you too!A bit of advice:DON'T OPEN PANDORA'S BOX!!!Dont let anyone in "the promise land"until he has made some vows to God and to you at the altar and given you his last name!Because if you save yourself for your husband, he will be the best that you ahve ever had because he is the only one that you have ever had.Treat your body like the temple that it is.Stay away from potentially compromising postions.Have male friends...they are a wealth of information(women are not the expert when it comes to men because they have never been one). But keep it platonic. But the best advice that I can give is get a REAL relationship with God. He will let you know who Mr. Right is and help you weed out the counterfeits. And as madea would say...CLINK..CLINK!!! B BLESSED

Man...you are thinkin just like me! I'm so tired of these stupid young kids who think s*x is everything in life. I feel you on the temptations too. I'm going through the same thing, as they grow stronger with each passing day. But we gotta do something about these kids. I don't know what it is, but something's gotta be done...
